It’s hard to believe it’s been over a decade since I started styling men! In that time, I’ve become really familiar with great brands for men and have been keeping a list of my faves.
When I think about brands, I don’t think of them through the lens of being flashy or a way to boost egos. Rather, it’s more about who makes quality clothing, how well they fit, and what personal style they cater to.
One of the high-value resources I share with all of my style clients is a list of 5-10 places they should shop. This way, whenever they need a refresher, they know exactly where to look. No guesswork.
In the Shopping module of The Style Game Plan, I highlight my favorite places to shop so the guys can get a feel for the different brands out there. I break them down by personal style, fit and price point. One of my students went into a department store and tried a handful and and nailed down his personal top 10 list. His feedback: “This list would have taken me YEARS to build on my own and let’s not forget the cost, but I did it within a week without spending a dime. Wow.”
Proud moment for me and my A+ student, woo!
Alright, so I never do this, but today I’m sharing 5 brands the guys absolutely loved from the last round of The Style Game Plan. Here goes…
Brand No. 1. Vuori
All the guys loved everything from their t-shirts to their pants. They make great workout wear as well.

Brand No. 2. AG
When it comes to premium denim, you really can’t beat AG jeans. From fit to craftsmanship, they nail it.

Brand No. 3. All Saints
Their t-shirts are simply amazing and a fan favorite. They also have great lamb skin leather jackets if you’re in the market.

Brand No. 4. Rag & Bone
Their chinos are awesome.

Brand No. 5. State & Liberty
This was a new brand one of the students discovered and sent us photos of what he tried on. Conclusion: their jackets fit impeccably.

These brands are the real deal and have become go-tos with my styling clients and The Style Game Plan graduates.
Guess what? These are ONLY 5 of 50 brands that I love. Make sure you sign up for my email list. I’ll be sharing a new program that will give you access to more of my favorite brands including my favorite boots, sneakers, jeans, t-shirts and so much more. My intention is to do all the research for you, so you can nail down your top 10.
